We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for spiritual protection. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The name of Jesus is our strong tower, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the foundation of this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most crucial step in spiritual warfare—being clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
Now, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to drain your energy or influence your thoughts, emotions, or actions. The devil is a thief, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) and that no demonic force can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).
We pray a hedge of protection around you, asking the Lord to station His angels to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). May the blood of Jesus cover you, shielding you from every fiery dart of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). We command every demonic spirit attempting to absorb your energy or exert influence over you to flee in the mighty name of Jesus (James 4:7). You have no authority here, and we break every chain of oppression in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask You to strengthen this beloved one with Your power. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so they may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert with perseverance.
Lastly, we remind you that the enemy is already defeated. Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them by triumphing over them on the cross (Colossians 2:15). Walk in the victory that is already yours in Christ. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
