We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request for reconciliation with ###. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our prayers are only heard through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, our prayers lack the foundation of salvation and the authority of His blood.
Now, regarding this relationship, we must examine it through the lens of Scripture. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" If ### is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we must question whether this relationship aligns with God’s will. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it is meant to be between a man and a woman who share a commitment to Him.
If this relationship has involved sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that sin in the name of Jesus. The Bible is clear that fornication is a sin against God and our own bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We must repent of any sexual immorality and seek God’s forgiveness and healing. If this relationship is to be restored, it must be done in purity and holiness, with the goal of marriage if that is God’s will.
We also recognize the pain of separation and the desire for reconciliation. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He hears the cries of His children. However, we must surrender this relationship to Him and trust in His perfect timing and plan. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray for healing and restoration, but only if it aligns with Your will. If this relationship is not pleasing to You, we ask that You break any unhealthy attachments and give wisdom and discernment to all involved.
Father, we repent of any sin that has been committed in this relationship, whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry of the relationship, or any other disobedience. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus and restore us to right standing with You. We ask for forgiveness and healing for any wounds caused by these sins.
Lord, we pray for ###, that You would draw her heart to You. If she does not know You, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Soften her heart to receive the gospel and the truth of Your love. If she is a believer, we pray that You would speak to her clearly about this situation and give her wisdom and peace.
Father, we ask for reconciliation if it is Your will, but we surrender this desire to You. Give us the strength to trust in Your plan and timing. Help us to seek You above all else and to find our fulfillment in You alone. If this relationship is not to be restored, we ask for the grace to accept that and to move forward in obedience to You.
Lord, we pray for understanding, forgiveness, and a fresh start, but only in a way that honors You. May any renewed connection be built on the foundation of Christ and guided by Your Holy Spirit. Protect all involved from the enemy’s schemes and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in this time, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Surround yourself with godly counsel from mature believers who can help guide you according to Scripture. Remember that your worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in any human relationship. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
