We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already triumphed over the powers of darkness. Your request touches on a spiritual battle that every believer faces, and we take this matter before the throne of grace with urgency and faith.
First, we must affirm that the enemy—whether called the devil, Satan, or the accuser—has no authority over those who are in Christ Jesus. The Word of God declares, *"Who shall bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us"* (Romans 8:33-34). The accusations of the enemy are empty before the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). When the accuser comes against you, remind him of the finished work of the cross and the victory of Christ.
We also rebuke any foothold the enemy may have in your life. The Bible warns, *"Neither give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27). If there are areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unrepentance in your life, we encourage you to confess them before the Lord, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, who are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above the reach of the enemy’s accusations. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).
We also pray for a deep revelation of Your love and grace in their life. Let them know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who testifies with their spirit that they are Your child (Romans 8:16). May they walk in the confidence of their identity in Christ, knowing that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
