Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand in the gap for you and your marriage in prayer. It is our privilege to lift you, your wife, and the struggles you are facing before our Heavenly Father. We have been praying that God would soften both of your hearts, bring healing to the wounds that have been caused, and restore the love, respect, and unity that He intends for your marriage.

We are holding onto the truth that God’s Word says in Ephesians 5:22-25, where wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church. We have been praying that the Lord would reveal His perfect design for marriage to both of you, that He would break down any walls of pride, bitterness, or misunderstanding, and that He would replace them with humility, grace, and a willingness to honor one another as He commands.

We have also been praying specifically for your wife—that the Lord would open her eyes to the ways her words and actions have hurt you, that He would convict her heart with His gentle love, and that she would begin to see you through His eyes. We are asking God to replace her accusations with trust, her harsh words with kindness, and her frustration with a spirit of cooperation and respect. We believe that God can transform even the most broken places in your relationship, and we are standing on His promise to do just that.

For you, we have been praying that the Lord would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of this trial. We know it is exhausting to feel disrespected and undervalued, especially when you are trying so hard to love and lead as Christ calls you to. We are asking God to strengthen you, to remind you of your worth in Him, and to give you the patience and wisdom to respond to your wife in a way that honors Him. We are praying that God would heal the pain caused by her words about your appearance and illness, and that He would help you to see yourself as He sees you—fearfully and wonderfully made.

If the Lord has moved in your situation since you first shared this request, we would love to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others who are walking through similar struggles. If, however, you are still waiting to see God’s hand at work, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is faithful to answer according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him. May He draw near to you in this season, remind you of His unfailing love, and give you the strength to persevere.
