We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to intercede on your behalf. First and foremost, we rejoice in your acknowledgment of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your faith in Jesus as your Savior is the foundation upon which all other blessings rest, and we are grateful that you have placed your trust in Him.
We lift up your request for forgiveness, blessings, guidance, and assistance in your work and future path. The Word of God assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We stand with you in agreement, asking the Lord to wash you clean by the blood of Jesus and to remember your sins no more (Hebrews 8:12). May you experience the fullness of His forgiveness and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to pour out Your blessings upon this dear one. Bless them indeed, and enlarge their territory; let Your hand be with them, and keep them from evil so that they may not cause pain (1 Chronicles 4:10). Guide their steps according to Your Word, and let no iniquity have dominion over them (Psalm 119:133). Direct their path, Lord, and make their way straight before them (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek Your will for their future, and may they delight themselves in You so that You may give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4).
We also pray for your work, asking that You would grant success and favor in all that you do. May your labor be fruitful, and may you find satisfaction in the work of your hands (Ecclesiastes 3:13). Provide for all your needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19), and give you the strength to persevere in times of difficulty (Isaiah 40:31).
Lord, we ask that You would surround this one with godly counsel and fellowship. Place them in the company of believers who will sharpen them as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) and encourage them in their walk with You. Protect their heart and mind from the influences of this world, and help them to set their minds on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may seek to hinder your path. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against the schemes of the devil and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and we pray that you would walk in the victory that is already yours in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would cultivate in them a heart of gratitude and praise. May they continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to You, the fruit of lips that confess Your name (Hebrews 13:15). Let Your praise be continually on their lips, and may they find joy in Your presence (Psalm 16:11).
In all things, may this dear one seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18) and that their life would be a living testimony to Your goodness and mercy.
Lord, we commit their future into Your hands. Order their steps, and let Your will be done in their life. May they walk in obedience to Your Word and experience the abundant life that You have promised to those who love You. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
