We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your heart to the Lord. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We acknowledge your desire for forgiveness, blessing, guidance, and assistance in your work and future path. The Word of God assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your forgiveness. Lord, we ask that You wash away every sin, every mistake, and every transgression. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We declare that by the blood of Jesus, they are forgiven and set free from the bondage of sin.
Father, we ask for Your blessings to overflow in their life. May Your favor rest upon them like a shield, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Guide their steps, Lord, as they seek Your will for their future. Your Word tells us that Your plans for us are plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust that You will direct their path and make their way straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we also pray for their work. Grant them wisdom, strength, and diligence to perform their tasks with excellence, as unto You and not to men (Colossians 3:23). Open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may be trying to hinder their progress. We declare that the Lord will perfect that which concerns them; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever (Psalm 138:8). We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
May they continue to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May they be rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as they have been taught, and abounding in thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7). Let their life be a testimony of Your love, power, and faithfulness, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
