We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has endured such unjust harassment for a decade. The weight of corruption and unrighteousness has taken a toll on his health, and we stand in the gap for him, declaring God’s justice and healing over his life.
Father, we thank You that You are a God of righteousness and justice. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."* Lord, we ask that You expose the corruption that has oppressed him and bring it to light. Let Your justice prevail, and let those who have acted wickedly be held accountable. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for his physical well-being. High blood pressure is a serious condition, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore his health. Proverbs 4:20-22 says, *"My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body."* Lord, let Your Word be medicine to his body. Strengthen his heart, calm his mind, and restore his peace. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and stress that has tried to take root in his life. Remind him daily that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let him rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for him.
We also pray for his emotional and spiritual strength. It is painful to be persecuted for righteousness’ sake, but Jesus said in Matthew 5:10, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."* Lord, let him feel the weight of that blessing. Fill him with Your joy and peace, even in the midst of this trial. Let him know that his integrity is not in vain and that You see every act of honesty and honor.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly allies and advocates for him—people who will stand with him, support him, and help him navigate this difficult season. Let him not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our righteousness, our healer, and our defender. Amen.
