We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to intercede on your behalf. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we can find forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God. We are so grateful that you have acknowledged your need for His forgiveness, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would indeed forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We pray that the blood of Jesus would cover every transgression, washing them whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7). Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon them, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide. Bless them with wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks after You above all else.
Father, we know that Your Word says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that You would guide their path and help them to choose the future You have ordained for them. Give them clarity and peace as they seek Your will in every decision, big or small. May they not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of their mind, so that they may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2).
Lord, we also ask that You would assist their work. Whether it is in their job, ministry, studies, or daily tasks, may they find strength and favor in Your sight. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24). Grant them diligence, integrity, and a spirit of excellence in all they put their hands to do.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may be trying to hinder their progress. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that they would walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and fellowship. May they be encouraged by the body of Christ and grow in their relationship with You daily. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to run with perseverance the race marked out for them.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray all these things, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
