We come before the throne of grace with your urgent cry for protection and deliverance, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. The Scriptures declare, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His blood, His authority, and His power that we can stand against the schemes of the enemy. We rebuke every plan of the devil—past, present, and future—in the name of Jesus, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
Heavenly Father, we stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their heart, and their circumstances. We break every chain of hurt, oppression, and influence—whether direct or indirect—that the enemy has sought to impose. The Word tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We submit this situation to You, Lord, and resist every demonic force in the authority of Jesus Christ.
We also recognize that the enemy often seeks to exploit wounds, unforgiveness, or areas of disobedience in our lives. If there are any open doors—such as unrepentant sin, bitterness, or idolatry—we ask You, Holy Spirit, to reveal them so they may be closed through confession, repentance, and the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Lord, we ask You to surround this beloved one with Your angels, to be a hedge of protection around them as You were for Job (Job 1:10). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Father, we also pray for spiritual discernment and wisdom. Equip them with the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). May they stand firm, rooted in Christ, and walk in the victory that is already theirs through His resurrection.
We thank You, Lord, that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated, his assignments are canceled, and his influence is broken in the name of Jesus. May this dear one experience Your freedom, Your healing, and Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.
