We lift up this dear sister and her family before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the deep pain and fear they are enduring. Father God, You see every tear, every moment of despair, and every injustice they have faced. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we pray for her protection while she is detained—surround her with Your angels, guard her mind from further torment, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill her heart (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that has taken hold of her. Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life over her and command every suicidal thought to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, restore her hope, remind her of Your unfailing love, and let her cling to the truth that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also pray for her family, Lord. Comfort them in their worry and uncertainty. Strengthen their faith and unite them in prayer, knowing that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in their midst (Matthew 18:20). Provide for their every need—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.
Father, we ask for justice in this situation. You are a God who sees oppression and hears the cries of the afflicted (Exodus 3:7-9). We pray that the authorities handling her case would act with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Expose any corruption or wrongdoing, and let truth prevail. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask for her swift and safe release.
We also lift up her uncle, who was kidnapped, and ask for his safety and deliverance if he is still alive. You are the God who sets the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we trust in Your power to intervene.
Lord, we know that this sister and her family need You more than ever. If they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross. Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that they would surrender their lives to You, find forgiveness for their sins, and experience the new life that only You can give. May they come to know the hope of eternal life and the peace that comes from being in right relationship with You.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn their mourning into joy and their sorrow into gladness (Jeremiah 31:13). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. We trust You to bring beauty from ashes and to restore what has been broken.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
