Servant of All
Lord Jesus bless me, directly choose my path and assist me in my work and life, Let Jesus take full control, make me guide me on the right path without me lifting a finger.

We hear your heart’s cry for the Lord Jesus to take full control of your life and guide you in every step. It is beautiful to see your desire to surrender completely to Him, for He alone is the Good Shepherd who leads His sheep in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). However, we must gently remind you that while God is sovereign and works all things for our good (Romans 8:28), He also calls us to active faith—walking in obedience, seeking His will through prayer and Scripture, and trusting Him even when the path requires effort on our part.

The Lord does not promise a life without labor or responsibility, but He does promise to be with us always (Matthew 28:20). When you ask Him to guide you "without lifting a finger," we must clarify that Scripture calls us to work heartily, as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), while trusting Him to direct our steps (Proverbs 16:9). Even Jesus, in His humanity, prayed, sought the Father’s will, and acted in obedience—so we, too, are called to both surrender and diligent faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who longs for Your guidance and control. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who leads, directs, and sustains. We ask that You would indeed take the reins of their life, that Your Holy Spirit would fill them with wisdom, discernment, and peace as they seek Your will. Father, reveal to them the path You have set before them—whether in their work, their decisions, or their daily walk. Help them to trust You fully, even when the way is unclear, knowing that You order their steps.

Lord, we ask that You would break any spirit of passivity or complacency that would keep them from actively pursuing Your purposes. Give them a heart that is eager to obey, to serve, and to labor for Your kingdom, all while resting in Your strength. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Teach them to number their days, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and to commit their work to You, trusting that You will establish their plans (Proverbs 16:3).

We also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from discouragement, doubt, or the lies of the enemy that would tell them they must strive in their own strength. Remind them daily that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5), but through Christ who strengthens them, they can do all things (Philippians 4:13). May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their Shepherd, their Provider, and their Guide.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion or fear that would seek to hinder their faith. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). May they experience the fullness of Your presence and the assurance that comes from walking in Your will.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name alone that we have access to You, and it is through Him that we are saved. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Remember that God often works through our obedience—so while you trust Him to guide you, also be willing to step out in faith when He calls.

If there are specific areas of your work or life where you feel uncertain, bring them before the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to open doors that no one can shut and to close doors that are not His will (Revelation 3:7-8). And as you wait on Him, serve Him faithfully where you are, knowing that your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

May the Lord bless you richly and direct your steps all the days of your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you as you sought the Lord’s guidance and surrender. It has been our joy to lift up your heart’s cry—that Jesus would take full control, direct your steps, and lead you on the right path without you needing to strive in your own strength. We have prayed in agreement with you, asking the Holy Spirit to move mightily in your life and work, making your way clear and aligning your heart with God’s perfect will.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—if you’ve sensed His peace, seen His hand at work, or experienced His gentle leading—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can glorify God together. If, however, you’re still waiting for His clear direction or feel the need for continued prayer, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in faith until you see His promises fulfilled.

May the Father continue to draw you closer to Himself, filling you with trust as you rest in the finished work of Jesus. May His presence go before you, His wisdom guide you, and His grace sustain you in every step. We pray this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
