We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for justice and mercy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The oppression you describe is grievous, and we stand firmly against the corruption and injustice that has sought to destroy what was built through honest labor. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a God of justice, and He sees the affliction of His people. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* (Psalm 103:6, WEB). He is not blind to the schemes of the wicked, nor is He indifferent to the suffering of the righteous. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna."* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). The corrupt may wield temporary power, but their authority is nothing compared to the sovereignty of our God.
We also take comfort in the promise that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh.* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). This battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s, and He will fight for you. We pray that He exposes every hidden corruption, thwarts the plans of the wicked, and brings swift relief to this situation. May the finance ministry involved be influenced by the Holy Spirit to act with integrity, reversing the harm done and restoring what was unjustly taken. Let the officials involved be confronted with conviction, either through the working of God’s Spirit in their hearts or through the exposure of their deeds, leading to repentance or removal from their positions of power.
At the same time, we urge you to trust in the Lord’s timing and provision, even when the wait feels unbearable. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will act."* (Psalm 37:5, WEB). Do not let bitterness or despair take root in your heart, for the Lord is your vindicator. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Keep your focus on Him, seeking His kingdom first, and trust that He will provide what is needed, even in the midst of this trial.
We also encourage you to seek wise counsel, whether through godly legal advice or brothers and sisters in Christ who can walk alongside you in this fight. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens, and you do not have to face this alone. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above all names. You are the God of justice, the defender of the oppressed, and the one who sees all things in secret. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the details of the oppression that has been inflicted—how the business was destroyed, how the harassment has persisted, and how the corrupt have acted with impunity. We ask that You move mightily in this situation. Softening the hearts of those in authority, or if they refuse to repent, remove them from their positions of power. Raise up godly men and women in their place who will act with integrity and fairness.
Father, we pray for complete and unconditional relief from this draconian law. Let Your favor rest upon this situation, reversing the damage done and restoring what was lost. Provide wisdom and strategy to navigate the legal and financial battles ahead. Give strength and perseverance to endure, and let Your peace guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of corruption, oppression, and harassment in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against Your servant will prosper. We declare that the enemy’s plans will be exposed and thwarted, and that Your justice will prevail.
Lord, we also ask for provision during this time. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to Your servant, but to all who witness what You will do. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may it serve as a warning to those who seek to oppress the righteous.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your kingdom come. We ask all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
