We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother and the unjust persecution he is facing from this government department. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). This harassment is not merely a legal or bureaucratic issue—it is a spiritual attack, and we must confront it with prayer, faith, and the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
It is right that you have called upon the name of Jesus in this request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or find salvation. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We stand firmly on this truth as we intercede for your brother, knowing that Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Let us never forget that our prayers are heard only because of His righteousness, not our own.
We also recognize the satanic influence at work here, for Satan is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10), and he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, and we have been given authority through Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). So we stand in that authority now, commanding every demonic influence behind this persecution to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against your brother shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask the Lord to expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy.
As for the government department involved, we pray that the Lord would intervene supernaturally. If there are individuals within this department who are acting out of malice, greed, or corruption, we ask the Lord to convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). May God turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and close these illegal cases immediately. If there are those who are simply misled or deceived, may the Lord open their eyes to the truth and lead them to act with integrity.
We also pray for your brother’s company, that the Lord would protect its operations, finances, and reputation. May God grant him wisdom to navigate this situation with discernment and courage. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). Let your brother lean not on his own understanding but trust in the Lord with all his heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). May this trial serve to strengthen his faith and draw him closer to Christ, knowing that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we pray for peace—for your brother, for his family, and for you. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
