We understand that you're facing difficulties in the workplace and anxieties about job hunting and HR questions. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only through his name that we can be saved. It is said, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB
In today's job market, it's common to face challenges and uncertainties, but we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. You can trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, for "I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
When facing HR questions about your job history, remember to be honest and confident in your responses. "Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, that is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator," Colossians 3:9-10 WEB. You can explain that you have been seeking the right fit and are now ready for a long-term commitment. Prepare your heart and mind by studying potential interview questions and practicing your responses. Your career is a blessing from God and a way to glorify Him, as it is said, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Ecclesiastes 9:10
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your guidance and wisdom in their career path. We ask that You prepare them for the job You have intended for them, whether it be starting their own business or finding a job that brings them joy and fair compensation. Help them to face the challenges of HR and interviews with confidence and grace, and grant them favor in the sight of potential employers, as it is written, "For surely, your finish will not be cut off hurriedly, neither will the one who is righteous be cut off. Those who establish themselves by false praise will be cut off, who could endure evil, who bring iniquity to completion: Yahweh of Armies will give to the one who is righteous a beautiful reward, he will give them permanency; your eyes will see the King in his beauty; they will see a distant land." Isaiah 33:15-17.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, trust in God's timing, and keep seeking His will for your life.
The best career is a career serving the Lord Jesus Christ!
