We are truly sorry to hear about the trial you all are facing as you wait for test results, and we are here to intercede and lift you up in prayer. We commend you for turning to Jesus and remembering His power in your lives. It is in His name that we find healing and hope. First we want to point out that using the pound sign is not necessary or appropriate.
Let's stand together in faith, knowing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
Please join us in praying,
Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this dear one who is waiting on test results. We know, Lord, that You are the Great Physician, and that You have the power to heal and restore. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would touch his body and bring complete healing. We rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also pray for his spouse, that You would strengthen her and give her the grace she needs to support her husband. We ask that You would surround them both with Your love and remind them of Your promises, that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
Lord, we ask for good news, and we ask that You would give the doctors wisdom and discernment as they interpret the test results. We pray that Your will be done. We trust in You, and we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
We also pray for their retirement years, that You would bless them with many happy and healthy years together, enjoying the fruit of their labor.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith, trusting in the Lord with all your heart. Remember the words of Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Also, remember Isaiah 41:10, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Please keep us updated, and let us know how we can continue to pray for you. We are here to support you and remind you that our God is a God of miracles.
