We understand your desire for success and recognition in your career, and we will pray with you. However before we do, let us remind you something about how we need to approach such things according to the Bible.
"Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake." Psalm 115:1
We must not seek things for our own glory, but for God's glory. We also need to be content in all circumstances as we are instructed in Philippians 4:11-13,
"Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We should only seek the Lord's will, not our own. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" Philippians 2:5. We should seek to do His will. God will bless us as He sees fit.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. Lord, if it is Your will for this paper to win the prize, we ask that You make it happen. We pray that You bless this person and provide for them according to Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we have access to God, for it is only by His name that we can be saved.
Lord, we ask for guidance and wisdom. Help us to remember that our work should always be for Your glory, not our own. Help us to be content in all circumstances and to trust in Your plan for our lives. In Jesus name Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
