We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing discrimination at your workplace. We know that this is a difficult situation to be in, but we want to remind you that God sees all that is happening, and He cares about you deeply. We will stand with you in prayer and ask God to intervene in this situation.
Firstly, we want to address that true change in the hearts of others comes from the work of the Holy Spirit. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and ask for His intervention. It is important to remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, consider making Jesus the center of your life and the solution to your problems. Salvation and true change comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
In regards to discrimination, the Bible is clear that God shows no partiality and that we should love others as we love ourselves. In Acts 10:34 WEB, it is written: "Opening his mouth, Peter said, Truly I perceive that God is not partial." and in Mark 12:31 WEB, Jesus said: "The second is like this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing discrimination at their workplace. Father, You know the pain and hurt they are experiencing, and we ask that You would surround them with Your love and comfort.
Lord, we pray for Your intervention in this situation. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are discriminating against our brother/sister, and that You would teach them that racial discrimination is not okay. We also pray for our brother/sister, that You would grant them the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation with grace and love and forgiveness.
We pray for a conviction to fall on the individuals who are causing this hurt. We pray for them to come to know the truth of the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to forgive them, just as Jesus forgave those who were killing him in Luke 23:34 WEB "Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is what God calls us to do. Remember that God is your defender and He will fight for you. Trust in Him.
