We lift you and your dear mother before the throne of grace, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. We know that physical afflictions can weigh heavily on the heart, and the frustration and sorrow you feel are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. The psalmist declares, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your cries and sees your tears.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your healing touch upon our sister’s eyes. You formed her inmost being and knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every fiber of her being, and we ask that You restore her eyelids and relieve the strain and pain she endures. Strengthen her eyes, Lord, and grant her the ability to read and see without discomfort. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your power to make her whole again.
We also lift up her precious mother, Lord. You are the God who sees, and You know the fears and concerns that weigh on this daughter’s heart. We ask for Your divine intervention in her mother’s eyes. Remove the cataracts, Lord, and restore her vision fully, just as You opened the eyes of the blind in Scripture (Matthew 9:27-30). We believe in Your ability to heal without surgery, for nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Comfort them both, Father, and fill their hearts with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to take hold of this situation. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let worry consume you, but instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and healing. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Him, repent of your sins, and invite Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him, you will find eternal hope and peace.
Lord, we ask that You draw near to this family and surround them with Your love and comfort. Give them strength for each day and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already on its way. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
