Disciple of Prayer
My husband and I are elderly, and in very bad health. I just had a major heart attack and my husband of 44 years has cancer, and our family lied to us and has been all along. Come to find out and had it not been for our Lord and Savior showing us, we would have really been caught off guard. I ask for prayers a few months ago and at that time we were told everything was great and fine and they did not need to borrow against our home and instead of trusting them like we did (because they were close family) believing them like we did was a very bad mistake. They kept coming up with one excuse or 100 others of why they could not meet us at the courthouse to put it in our name. Now we clearly see why it was too hard for them to do.
The husband to my family member is a big-time gambler (come to find out) he will tell you and claim he is a "day trader" in other words he plays the stock markets and further claims he makes a lot of money (which is also another lie). When he was asked, "If you make so much money on the stock market, why do you need to borrow money on this place?" needless to say, never got an answer and he got mad and blew up.
My family member had a stroke and it erased the part of her brain that knows numbers; she knows no numbers whatsoever, cannot add, subtract, or anything that numbers are involved in. We have tried to tell her he is using her and have even proved it to her, but her reply is "well I love him" and this is the third time he has cleaned them out. The other times the parents were still alive and bailed them out, but they are in glory now.
The company they made the loan with has sold it three times in less than three months and the family members claim they don't know where to send the payments to, which I am very sure is just another lie. I do not say this almost never, for I have my faults too, but lying is not one of them. But the things we have learned in just the past few days they are pure evil, and believe in nothing in fact will tell you "The worst people on planet earth are people that believe in God."
My husband and I are getting very weary; we're not losing our faith, but so so tired, even getting to the point of scared to even answer our phone because of who or what we're going to hear on the other end. Please pray for us, that our heavenly Father will lead us, guide us, and show us what He would have us to do. Show us a place to live in peace.
