We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, knowing the heavy burden you carry as a single mother seeking stability for your family. The worries and frustrations you feel are real, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord is your provider, and He sees your diligence in seeking work. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
It is crucial to remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). While you wait, continue to seek Him in prayer, asking for His wisdom and favor in your job search. We also encourage you to seek godly community—perhaps through your church or local Christian organizations—that can offer support, practical help, or connections for employment. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He alone is your hope and salvation. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no greater stability than being anchored in Him.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister who is in great need. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors for stable employment that will sustain her and her children. Give her favor in the eyes of potential employers, and let Your wisdom guide her steps. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Lord, we also pray for a stable home for this family—a place of safety, warmth, and Your presence. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. Strengthen her faith during this season, and remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We ask for divine connections—godly people who can offer support, encouragement, or opportunities. Surround her with Your love and let her feel Your nearness. If there are areas in her life where she needs to trust You more fully, reveal them to her and grant her the grace to surrender.
Finally, Lord, if she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her heart to receive Jesus as her Lord, that she may walk in the fullness of Your promises.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in her life, and may You be glorified through her story. In the powerful and saving name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, sister. Keep seeking the Lord, and do not lose hope. He is with you, and He will not fail you. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you.
