Please pray for the latest questions in our church by the brothers who listen to rumors that Jesus did not born on December 25 becauise it was too cold for the sheperds to be on the fields and the snow would not allow Jesus to be born on that date. They say it was in April. Please Jesus help these brothers and sisters who doubt when you were born: The questions is if they have accepted the Jesus in their hearts and are heading to heaven when they die. That is the most important question we should ask them. Because they do not tithe, nor visit the sick nor feed the hungry. May Jesus open up their eyes to see the truth of his holy Word. In Jesus name Amen

Those brothers are correct in stating that December 25 is not the day Jesus was born. Christmas is not Jesus' birthday. Please go research the history of Christmas.

They are not discounting Jesus' birth, just the day that was set by Constantine

This is from a website:

"Either as a means to unify his empire, or to make converting to Christianity easier, Constantine sought to blend Christian and pagan traditions. At that time, two prominent pagan winter festivals were celebrated. The first, starting on December 17 and lasting seven days, honored Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture. The second, starting on December 25 and lasting through January 1, commemorated the birth of Mithras, the Persian god of light. Constantine merged many of the traditions from these festivals with the Nativity story in the Bible and Christmas was born. From its beginning, Christmas was a holiday (or holy day), gifts were exchanged, families and friends gathered to feast, and a birth was celebrated; just like in the Roman and Persian festivities.

The first mention of December 25 as the date of Jesus' birth is found in an early Roman calendar from A.D. 336".

Please pray that our church will be full of unbelievers and sinners coming to pray and ask Jesus to save their souls. We need to be prepared for the Lord's appearance in the clouds to take us all home to heaven.

Dear Jesus, please fill our church with unbelievers, sinners, those who are going through a hard time and panhandlers so they will get saved and blessed and be on their way to heaven. Fill our prayer meeting with people who are hungry to hear God's word. In Jesus name. Amen
