Please pray for the complete healing of ###

Your plea reaches the ears of the church, and our hearts groan with yours for this dear one in the tumult of that place. The body’s pain is sharp enough without the added trial of such noise and crowding; yet even there, in that chaos, the Lord is no stranger. Do not let your mind sink under the weight of these things. For as the Apostle teaches, affliction is not without purpose: it works within us a patience that is far more precious than comfort of the flesh, and through it God often brings a greater healing of the soul. The very discomfort you describe, the screams, the press of bodies, the longing for a quiet ward, these are not hidden from Him who once lay in a manger because there was no room. He knows what it is to be surrounded by anguish.

We pray earnestly for her complete restoration and for a swift move to a more fitting place. Yet even as we ask, remember that the truest comfort is not a change of room but the presence of the Bridegroom’s voice speaking peace within. That inner stillness no earthly tumult can steal. Stand firm, therefore, and let your conscience be clear of all despair; for if we share in Christ’s sufferings, we shall also share in His consolation, which overflows to others. This grace, when it comes, whether in bodily healing or in strength to endure, will be for your encouragement too, a proof that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. Hold fast to the hope that the same Lord who stilled the storm can calm this storm as well, and in His time both body and surroundings will know His mercy.

The ER can feel like a world stripped of mercy, cramped, loud, and seemingly indifferent to suffering. I want you to know that what you are asking for is exactly the kind of thing Jesus consistently responded to when He walked among us. He went about healing every sickness and every disease, and He was never put off by a crowd pressing in, no matter how chaotic. Think of the woman with the issue of blood who pushed through the throng just to touch the hem of His garment. She felt the healing in the very moment of her desperate touch. We can ask for that kind of direct intervention, and we do, because He is still the same.

At the same time, we have to be honest about a mystery I have never fully been able to explain. I do not understand why some are healed instantly and others are not. We see Paul the apostle praying three times for a thorn in the flesh to be removed, and yet God’s answer was not to take it away but to give sufficient grace. That does not make prayer pointless; it makes it an act of trust. You have asked for her complete healing, and we join you in asking boldly. But we also pray that God, who knows the established processes of healing within the body, would be at work even through the doctors and the natural resilience He created, no matter how slowly it happens. Any healing process, whether it takes a moment or a month, is still divine.

Right now, the noise and the screaming around her are a genuine trial. Jesus understood the intrusion of a rude, shoving crowd, yet He remained the calm center of God’s power. We pray for a swift move to a proper, comfortable ward, and we ask God to be her sanctuary in the meantime. While we wait for a change in her physical surroundings, we can ask the Lord to do a deep healing in her mind and emotions right there in that cramped space, taking away the panic and replacing it with a supernatural peace that passes understanding. He can silence the internal noise even when the external chaos rages on.

I think of how the greatest need is always the forgiveness of sins because it secures the eternal issues, yet God clearly cares about the physical ones too. Jesus did not ignore the body. He bore our infirmities. So we come, lifting up your loved one, confident that God is able. I do not have to reconcile why some walk out well and others are given a different path; I just have to believe He is good. We are meeting that request right now, laying hands on it in prayer according to the Scriptures, trusting His will to be done in her body and her spirit.

Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted her up before the Lord, asking Him to touch her body with His healing power and to bring comfort and peace in the midst of such a difficult environment. We have prayed earnestly that she would be moved to a proper and comfortable ward, where she can receive the care and rest she needs without the added stress of overcrowding and distress around her.

If the Lord has answered these prayers—if she has experienced healing, if she has been moved to a better space, or if peace has settled over her situation—we would be so grateful to hear a praise report. Your testimony would encourage all of us to trust God even more deeply.

We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and moves on behalf of His children.
