Please pray for ###’s recovery after her stroke

My mother suffered a stroke due to a blood clot over five months ago. She was hospitalized for nearly a month, then stayed at a nursing home for about two months, and has now been recovering at home for the past two months. Initially, the left side of her body was paralyzed, but after lying in bed for so long, even her right leg has become weak. She is now completely dependent on others for daily care. During the day, a home caregiver comes for half a day, but in the evenings and on weekends, my sister takes care of her alone. On weekdays, my sister also takes my mom to the clinic for rehabilitation. The workload has become very heavy for her. We are praying that a full-time foreign caregiver can arrive soon, but the agency has not yet been able to find a suitable candidate. Please join us in praying for Jesus’ mercy and healing — that my mother’s left arm, left leg, and right leg will regain strength and movement, and that she will even be able to stand and walk again, becoming a testimony to God's glory. Please also pray that Jesus will sustain my sister with enough strength, that He will quickly send the right full-time caregiver, and provide for all our financial needs during this time. We join you in lifting up your mother's situation to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and mercy. We pray that God, who is rich in mercy, will grant your mother healing and restoration. Remember the words of the Psalmist, Bless Yahweh, my soul! Do not forget all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases (Psalm 103:2-3 WEB).

We pray that God will give your mother strength and movement in her left arm, left leg, and right leg. We ask that He will restore her ability to stand and walk, making her a testimony to His glory and goodness. We also lift up your sister, asking God to sustain her with enough strength and endurance during this time. We pray that the Lord will encourage her and give her the support she needs as she cares for your mother. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

We ask God to provide a suitable full-time caregiver quickly, according to His will. We trust that He knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory. We pray IJN (In Jesus Name) that all your financial needs will be met during this time, remembering that My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

We praise God that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer request. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author of your faith. May this trial draw you closer to Him and give you an opportunity to witness His power and grace. Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB).
