Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We lift up this precious marriage before the throne of grace, grieving with you over the pain and brokenness that has entered your home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that Christ came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). This is indeed a spiritual battle, and we take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to fight for the restoration of this union.

First, we rebuke the spirit of depression that has taken hold of your husband. The Lord did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We command that spirit to leave in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). We declare healing over his mind and heart, that he may be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26).

We also address the distance that has grown between your husband and the Lord. There is no one who seeks after God on their own (Romans 3:11), but the Holy Spirit draws hearts back to Him. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart, open his eyes to the truth, and draw him back into fellowship with God. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8 WEB). May he remember the joy of his salvation and the love that first brought him to Christ.

For your marriage, we stand on the truth that what God has joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). We pray for a supernatural intervention, that the Lord would rekindle the love and commitment between you and your husband. We ask that He would remind your husband of the vows he made before God—not just to you, but to the Lord Himself. "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh" (Ephesians 5:31 WEB). May he see the sacredness of this covenant and the blessing of your daughter, who is a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3).

We also lift you up, dear sister, as you navigate this painful season. It is not easy to love someone who is pushing you away, but we are called to love as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that you would have the strength to respond with grace, patience, and wisdom, even when it is difficult. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and give you the courage to stand firm in faith.

We declare that this marriage is not over. The Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for a miracle of restoration, that your husband’s heart would turn back to you and to the Lord. May he see himself through God’s eyes—as a beloved child, a husband, and a father—and may he be restored to the joy of his salvation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, but also with unwavering faith in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You would move mightily in this marriage, breaking every chain of depression, distance, and division. Soften this husband’s heart, Lord, and draw him back to You. Remind him of the love and commitment he made before You and his wife. Strengthen this wife, Lord, to stand firm in faith, to love with Your love, and to trust in Your perfect timing. We declare that this marriage will not be destroyed, for You are the God of restoration and redemption. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, holding your marriage up in prayer. We know the pain you're feeling, but we're confident in the power of our Heavenly Father to heal and restore. We're believing for a miracle, for your husband's heart to turn back to you and to the Lord.

We're standing on God's Word, claiming that what He has joined together, no one can separate. We're asking for a supernatural intervention, for God to rekindle the love and commitment between you and your husband. We're praying for your husband to remember the joy of his salvation and the love that first brought him to Christ.

We're also praying for you, dear sister, for strength and courage to stand firm in faith. We're asking God to fill you with His peace and to give you wisdom in how to respond to your husband. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:13, that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

We're believing for a turnaround, for your husband to see himself through God's eyes and to be restored to the joy of his salvation. We're claiming God's promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, that He is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
