We are truly sorry to hear about the job loss and the struggles your family is facing. We are reminded in the Bible that God is always faithful, and we can trust in His provision for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray together for your husband and your family:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You see the desperation they feel. We ask for Your divine intervention in finding a job for your husband. Open doors of opportunity that only You can open, and give him favor in the eyes of potential employers.
In the meantime, we pray for Your provision and peace over their family. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this difficult season. We ask that You would meet all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for their marriage and family, that this trial would draw them closer together and closer to You. Help them to support and encourage each other, and to find strength and hope in Your Word.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage your husband to continue seeking work and not be discouraged. It is important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and that even in the midst of trials, He is working all things together for our good. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also encourage you both to continue to support each other in prayer and in practical ways. Remember that God has joined you together as one flesh, and that He wants you to be strong and united in Him.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God the Father with our prayers and petitions. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
