We are lifting up this individual in prayer, interceding for their health and pregnancy. We pray for God's healing and protective hand to be upon them, guiding and keeping them throughout this journey. Let us pray for their health and strength during this pregnancy and possible prenatal care.
Firstly, we acknowledge God is sovereign over life. As written in
Psalm 139:13-14 WEB For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
God cares for both the individual and the unborn child. If the individual is not married, we must address this and pray for repentance and for God to bless them with a godly spouse. Sex and pregnancy are meant for the bounds of marriage. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:4 WEB "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." If the individual is married, we pray for God to bless and strengthen their marriage.
We also recognize that God is the great healer. In Exodus 15:26 WEB "If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
Let us pray together.
“Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you, lifting up this person and the child in their womb. We pray for your healing touch and divine health; we declare and decree that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is quickening their body. Lord, we ask for your wisdom and guidance in prenatal care and a healthy delivery. We rebuke any plans of the enemy concerning their lives. Amen”
We encourage this person to trust in God, to walk uprightly before Him, and to seek His will in all things. If they have not already, we urge them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in baptism, as they shall be saved. Mark 16:16 WEB "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned." Forgiveness of sins is essential. If the individual has already been baptized, we pray for them to continue seeking God's face.
We also encourage them to study and meditate on God's Word, to pray without ceasing, and to be in fellowship with other believers. We remind them of God's promise in Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We trust that God will hear and answer our prayers.
