Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my ###'s change of heart!
Dear Jesus, I know you love him more than I do and I am worried that he is been led by his friends and his losing his way. I would like to have prayers for my precious ### so that he will get back on track and follow Jesus and give him a heart to say no to evil things around him and find godly friends and do what is important to lead a Godly, righteous life. His exam results did not go very well and it seems like he is repeating the same mistakes again by leaving things to the last minute and getting anxious in the end. There is not a sense of urgency for anything. Please pray that he will get closer to God. In Jesus name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up this young man before the Lord, knowing that His heart is filled with compassion and His plans for him are good. You have rightly acknowledged that Jesus loves him even more than you do, and that truth is a powerful foundation for our prayers. The struggles you describe—spiritual drifting, poor influences, procrastination, and a lack of urgency—are common battles, but they are not insurmountable with God’s intervention. The enemy seeks to distract and derail those who belong to Christ, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that this young man will be restored and strengthened in his faith.

The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* It is clear that the company we keep has a profound impact on our walk with God. If this young man is being led astray by ungodly friendships, we pray that the Lord will sever those influences and surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage him in righteousness. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* Let us pray that God will place godly mentors and friends in his path—those who will spur him on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).

His struggle with procrastination and last-minute anxiety is also a spiritual battle. Laziness and a lack of discipline are often rooted in a lack of vision or purpose, but the Bible calls us to redeem the time wisely. Ephesians 5:15-17 says, *"Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."* We pray that God will instill in him a sense of urgency—not driven by fear, but by a desire to steward his time, talents, and opportunities for God’s glory. May he learn to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).

Most importantly, we pray for his heart to be fully surrendered to Christ. If he has strayed, we ask the Lord to draw him back with cords of lovingkindness (Hosea 11:4). If he has never truly committed his life to Jesus, we pray that today will be the day of salvation for him. The Bible is clear that *"now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no greater priority than a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Without Him, all other efforts—academic, relational, or otherwise—are in vain.

We also lift up his recent exam results and the discouragement that may have followed. The world measures success by performance, but God looks at the heart. We pray that he will not be defined by temporary setbacks but will press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Let him remember that *"a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again"* (Proverbs 24:16). Failure is not final when we trust in the Lord.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for him in prayer. Your intercession is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Keep speaking life, truth, and godly expectations over him, even when you don’t see immediate change. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."*

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man who is so precious in Your sight. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and the influences that are pulling him away from You. We ask that You break every ungodly tie and remove any friend or distraction that is leading him astray. Surround him with godly companions who will encourage him in faith, wisdom, and righteousness.

Father, we rebuked the spirit of procrastination, laziness, and anxiety that has taken hold of him. Replace it with a spirit of diligence, excellence, and trust in You. Open his eyes to see the value of time and the importance of stewarding his responsibilities well. Give him a heart that seeks You first in all things, knowing that when he aligns his life with Your will, everything else will fall into place.

Lord, we pray for his salvation and sanctification. If he has wandered from You, draw him back with Your unfailing love. If he has never surrendered his life to You, convict his heart and lead him to repentance. Let him experience the transforming power of Your grace, so that he may walk in newness of life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may have the strength to say no to evil and yes to Your perfect will.

We also lift up his academic struggles to You. Comfort him in his discouragement and remind him that his worth is found in You alone. Give him wisdom, focus, and perseverance as he prepares for his future. Let him see that even in setbacks, You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we declare that he is not a victim of his circumstances but a victor in Christ Jesus. Break every chain of complacency and apathy, and ignite in him a passion for righteousness. Let him rise up as a mighty man of God, equipped for every good work.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have started in him. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with others. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your beloved ###. It's clear that you're carrying a heavy burden, and we want you to know that we're lifting you both up in prayer. We've been where you are, and we understand the worry and fear that can grip our hearts when we see those we love straying from the path of righteousness.

First, let's remind ourselves of the power of Jesus' love for him. Greater love has no one than this, that He lay down His life for his friends (John 15:13). Jesus knows him intimately, and He desires for him to walk in freedom and abundance (John 10:10). Let's claim this truth over him today and every day.

We've seen the enemy's tactics before - ungodly influences, procrastination, and a lack of urgency. But we also know the power of God's Word and the authority we have in Jesus' name. Let's declare these Scriptures over him:

* "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
* "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7).
* "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" (Philippians 2:12-13).

Let's also pray for God to send godly mentors and friends his way, those who will encourage him in righteousness and help him grow in wisdom and discernment. We can ask God to give him a heart that desires godly friendships and a willingness to receive correction and guidance.

And finally, let's intercede for his upcoming exams. We can pray for peace, focus, and wisdom as he prepares. Let's remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance, but by the love God has for him (Psalm 139:13-14). Let's also claim this promise: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13).

We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a mighty turnaround in his life. Let's keep standing in faith together, knowing that our God is faithful and will complete the good work He has begun in him (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
