Please pray for peace in my heart ...

Please pray for peace in my heart. There is a woman that had smeared my name at my old work place. I looked up to her and thought highly of her. Even her lies had reached family that I hadn’t spoken to in years since like age ###. I’d like to pray for peace out in those family members' hearts also - I cannot speak to them but I sure would like to place this in God's hands. It’s really tore my heart apart trying to understand why someone would have so much hate.

We understand that your heart is troubled, ###, and we want you to know that we're here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, let's address the hurt and confusion you're feeling. In Matthew 5:11-12 (WEB), Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you." It's difficult to face false accusations, but remember that even Jesus was lied about and persecuted.

It's important to forgive this woman, just as Jesus forgave those who crucified Him. In Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), Jesus says, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We encourage you to release this burden to God and pray for her, as difficult as that may be.

Let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your peace and comfort for ###. Lord, they are hurting and confused, and we ask that You fill their heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. We pray for the woman who has caused this pain. Father, we know that You love her as much as You love ###, and we ask that You work in her heart and bring her to a place of conviction and repentance.*

*Lord, we also lift up ###'s family members to You. We ask that You comfort their hearts and help them to discern the truth. Draw them closer to You, Father, and give ### peace in knowing that they are in Your capable hands.*

*Father, we thank You for the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB) that says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." We ask that You turn this situation into something that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

###, remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. His name is the only name by which we can be saved. Continue to lean on Him and trust that He is working everything out for your good.

We also encourage you to seek out biblical community and support. Galatians 6:2 (WEB) tells us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You don't have to go through this alone.

Thankyou so much for this powerful prayer. It meant so much to me.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
