We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your soul in this sacred and solemn moment. The weight of eternity presses upon us all, and we recognize the urgency of standing in the gap for you before the throne of grace. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without this, there is no hope of eternal life with God.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be gripping your heart in this hour. The Word of God tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy would love to keep you in bondage to fear, but we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). We pray that you would feel the overwhelming love of Christ surrounding you, comforting you, and drawing you near to Him.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You. Lord, we ask that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life that has not been surrendered to You, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant them the strength to repent. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for complete cleansing and restoration in this moment.
We also pray for physical comfort and strength, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would ease any pain or suffering they may be enduring. Let Your presence be so tangible that it overshadows every earthly trial. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4). We declare that You are with them, guiding them, and comforting them in this valley.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare their heart for the journey ahead, whether it be into Your presence or continued life here on earth. If it is Your will for them to remain, we pray for renewed strength, purpose, and a deepening of their faith. If it is Your will to call them home, we pray for a glorious transition into Your presence, where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more tears (Revelation 21:4). We declare that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8), and we pray that they would experience the fullness of joy in Your presence forevermore.
We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be whispering lies to their soul. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this soul belongs to You, Lord, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the gap, praying for a hedge of protection around them, their mind, their heart, and their spirit.
Father, we also pray for their loved ones. This is a difficult time for those who care for them, and we ask that You would grant them strength, peace, and an outpouring of Your love. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give them the words to speak, the comfort to offer, and the faith to believe that Your will is perfect.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation and the hope of eternal life that we have in Christ Jesus. We pray that this soul would be anchored in that hope, knowing that because He lives, they too shall live (John 14:19). We declare that death has been swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:54), and we pray that they would walk in that victory, whether in this life or the next.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
