Please pray for my sons ###

Beloved of All
Please pray for ### she has a court date coming up next week and praying for good outcome as they have a baby together. Pray that she makes better choices in friends, does better with communication and not talking about others. Pray that she does better at her job and pays more attention to what she does and to slow down with her driving. She has a good heart but makes bad choices and burns bridges with family with her words and actions. Pray that God guides her daily.

We join you in lifting up your sons and the mother of your grandchild before the Lord, and we seek God's will together in Jesus' name for her court date next week and for every area of concern you have shared.

We pray that the court will act with truth and justice, and we ask for God's mercy and favor where repentance and responsibility are shown. We know that God desires truth and righteousness to prevail, and we trust His sovereign hand over this outcome. We pray for this young woman's heart and daily walk. You mention she has a good heart but makes bad choices, and Scripture reminds us that The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt Jeremiah 17:9, but God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26. What she needs most is not only better behavior but a transformed heart through Christ.

We also notice that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that your sons and this young mother would each put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for only then can they truly be guided daily by God.

Concerning their having a baby together, we must speak the truth in love. Scripture teaches that marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled Hebrews 13:4 and to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. Sex outside of marriage is fornication and does not align with God's design. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If your son and the mother of his child are not married, we encourage them not to continue as simply a boyfriend and girlfriend or partners, but to view their courtship with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer if it is God's will, for we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray for their relationship to be brought into alignment with biblical principles, for purity, commitment, and for the well-being of their child who needs a stable, Christ-centered home. We pray your son will step into his God-given role as a father and as a spiritual leader, providing, protecting, and modeling godliness.

We also lift up the specific struggles you mentioned. Regarding friends, we are reminded Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33 and He who walks with wise men will be wise Proverbs 13:20. We pray she will be given discernment to choose friends who encourage righteousness and to turn away from those who lead her astray. Regarding communication and talking about others, we pray she will learn to let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up Ephesians 4:29 and to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger James 1:19. Gossip and harsh words burn bridges with family, but love covers and restores, and we pray for humility, forgiveness, and reconciliation in those family relationships. Regarding her job, we pray she will work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, paying attention to what she does with diligence and faithfulness. Regarding driving, we pray for self-control and love for neighbor, for a sound mind and discipline that reflects the fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23, that she would slow down and steward her life and the lives of others with care.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and hope. We lift up this young mother and the father of her child and their baby to You. Lord, guide her daily steps as she trusts in You with all her heart and leans not on her own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. Direct her paths, grant her wisdom to choose godly friends, to control her tongue, to speak with grace and truth, to be diligent in her work, and to drive with patience and self-control. Heal what has been broken with family, bring repentance where words and actions have caused hurt, and restore those bridges through Your forgiveness. We ask for Your hand over her court date next week, that Your will be done, that truth be known, and that the outcome would lead to a better future for her, for this father, and for their child. Draw them both to Yourself, convict them of sin, grant them new hearts, and lead them toward holiness and toward marriage if it is Your will, that their family would honor You. Save them by Your grace through faith in Jesus, and help them walk in Your ways from this day forward. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to speak truth to them with grace, to point them to Christ and His Word, to pray that they would seek godly counsel and the local church, and to trust that God is able to redeem and guide even when choices have been poor. Trust in the Lord, for He directs the steps of those who delight in Him Psalm 37:23.

Thank you for bringing your son, , and their baby before the Lord with us. We hear both your love for her and your honest concern about the patterns that keep hurting her and the family.

A court date next week weighs heavily on everyone, so we understand why that feels most urgent. We are joining you in asking God for steadiness and wisdom for in these next days, and for His guidance over what is decided.

You described her with such care, a good heart but quick choices with friends, words, work and driving that end up burning bridges. Those areas are often connected. When we feel rushed or defensive we tend to speak before we think and move too fast in other areas as well. Your calm, consistent presence can be a quiet help even when you cannot make her choices for her.

One simple way to love her well this week could be to let her know you are praying specifically for the court date and ask if there is one practical way you can support her as she prepares, like help with the baby while she gathers paperwork, a ride if needed, or just listening without correcting. That kind of steady support often opens the door for better communication more than advice does.

Father, we lift to You, her court appearance, her work, her friendships, her driving and her role as a mother. Guide her daily, give her a desire to slow down and weigh her words and actions, and surround this young family with wisdom and grace. Give this parent peace as they love them well and trust You with what they cannot control. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord and before His people, and we join you in prayer for your sons, for this young woman, and for the little child entrusted to them.

We have taken your requests to the throne of grace, asking that the court proceedings next week may be ordered according to truth and justice and mercy. We do not ask God to simply grant what is desired, but to do what is right and good in His sight, for the welfare of all involved and especially for the child, who is precious in His eyes. We pray that whatever is spoken and decided there may be in accord with honesty, and that the outcome may lead all parties to greater responsibility and sobriety.

We pray also for this young woman as you have asked, that the Lord would guide her daily and grant her a new heart and a right spirit. We hear your love for her when you say she has a good heart, and we know that every one of us needs the grace of God to make our hearts truly good through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. In Him alone there is forgiveness of sin and power to become the sons and daughters of God. We pray that she and your sons may know that confidence which comes from trusting in Christ who died and rose again and ever lives to plead for His people.

We pray that God would teach her, and your sons also, that blessed fear of the Lord which keeps us from speaking and acting in ways that wound others. We ask that He would give her wisdom in the choice of friends, grace to rule her tongue and to turn away from speaking about others, diligence and attentiveness in her work, and carefulness upon the road. To drive with patience and to labor with faithfulness are part of walking worthily before the Lord, and we pray she may see that even the actions of common life can be made to serve His grace. We pray too that family bonds which have been strained by hasty words and actions may be healed where possible, through humble confession, ready forgiveness, and renewed kindness. As we have been forgiven much in Christ, so we are called to forgive and to seek peace.

We pray for your sons as fathers and as men, that they may walk in holiness before God. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that our bodies and our relationships are to honor the Lord within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what lies outside His holy design, but we do ask Him to lead all who are parents of this child into repentance where needed, into purity, into truthful and loving communication, and, if they are not already joined in that covenant, to seek His will with godly counsel as to how they may most honor Him going forward. Above all we pray that each one may hear the Word of God with heed, not carelessly or fitfully, but with a desiring heart that longs to be saved and to be made whole.

May the Lord keep you in prayer, for prayer is the life of the soul. Continue to bring these dear ones before Him, trusting not in our own pleas but in the merit of Jesus blood. We ask that He would furnish you all liberally out of His own goodness, give you wisdom for each day, and make your home quiet under His sheltering care.

We commend you and your family to Him who hears prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
