Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### and his son ###. Lord, we thank you for the gift of sports and the joy it brings to ###'s life. We ask that you would be with him tonight as he participates in his game. Give him strength, skill, and confidence to perform at his best. Lord, we know that even the smallest requests are important to you, for you care about every detail of our lives. In Matthew 10:30, it says, "But even the hairs of your head are all numbered." So we know that you are attentive to the desires of our hearts, no matter how big or small they may seem. We pray that ### would have a great game tonight, that he would experience joy and fulfillment in his performance. May he glorify you with his actions on the field and may this game be an opportunity for him to grow in character and sportsmanship. We also pray for ###, that you would give him peace and assurance as he supports his son. Strengthen their bond and fill their hearts with gratitude for the opportunities they have. We trust in your goodness and your faithfulness, knowing that you are always with us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
