We lift you up before the Lord with great care and compassion, dear sister. First and foremost, we rejoice with you in the gift of life that God has entrusted to you. Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward (Psalm 127:3). We pray that the Lord would watch over you and your little one with His mighty hand, granting you both strength, health, and peace during this precious time.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Lord, we ask that You would go before ### as she prepares for her time in the hospital. Calm any fears or anxieties she may be feeling, and fill her heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for the medical team that will care for her, that You would guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and give them wisdom as they attend to her needs. May every test, procedure, and moment in the hospital be under Your divine protection.
Lord, we also ask that You would sustain ### physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen her body to carry this child to full term, and prepare her heart for the joy and responsibility of motherhood. If there are any complications or concerns, we ask that You would intervene miraculously, for nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We declare Your healing power over her and her baby, trusting in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also want to gently encourage you, dear sister, to reflect on the sacredness of the life growing within you. If there are any circumstances surrounding this pregnancy that weigh heavily on your heart, whether it be fear, uncertainty, or past decisions, we want to remind you that God’s grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus loves you and gave His life for you, that you might have eternal life and a relationship with the Father. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father, we also pray for the father of this child, that he would step into his God-given role with responsibility, love, and commitment. If he is not already walking with You, Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself and soften his heart to the call of fatherhood. May this child be raised in a home that honors You, where both parents seek to follow Your ways and raise their little one in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold of ###’s heart. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this pregnancy is covered by the blood of Jesus, and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in faith, believing that God’s plans for ### and her baby are plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also ask that You would provide for every practical need during this time. Whether it be financial provision, emotional support, or spiritual encouragement, we trust that You will meet ### where she is and supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Surround her with godly friends, family, and mentors who will uplift her, pray for her, and walk alongside her during this journey.
Finally, we pray that this child would grow to know and love You from the earliest days of their life. May they be a light in this world, a testimony to Your goodness, and a vessel for Your glory. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the praise, honor, and glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
