We have read your request and we are lifting you and your mother and your brother before the Lord together. We are so grieved to hear how much worse this housing situation has become and how heavy this burden has been on you. To care for your elderly disabled mother whose mobility is challenged and for your mentally disabled brother while enduring cruel harassment day and night, broken sleep, constant noise, and the dread of when your neighbors return home is more than anyone should carry alone. We hear your exhaustion and your shattered nerves and your honest words that you have fasted and prayed for months and it feels like the more you pray the worse it has gotten, and that you are angry and burnt out and have given up and that you are depressed and would not want to be here anymore if it were not for your mother. We thank you for sharing this so honestly and we want you to know we are taking this to the Lord with you and we do not take lightly the pain you are in.
We want to gently encourage you not to give up even though you feel at the end of yourself. God sees exactly what is happening in that apartment and what your neighbors are doing, and He sees your faithfulness in honoring your mother and caring for your family. The Word says Honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12 and your care for them is precious to God. We understand your anger, and it is understandable to feel angry when you are being treated unjustly, yet the Word says Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath Ephesians 4:26. We encourage you to bring that anger to God and ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness while He works for justice. Your decision to document what is happening and to seek legal representation and to file a police report is wise and right, for God has established authorities for protection and justice.
We also hear your discouragement that prayer seems to make things worse. Please know that God has not forgotten you and He is not punishing you for praying. He calls us to always pray, and not give up Luke 18:1 and to know that even when we do not see an immediate change, He is near. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I Psalm 61:2. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We are very concerned about your words that you would not want to be here anymore. Your life is precious to God and to your mother and brother who need you, and God still has purpose for you even in this dark night. We urge you not to face these thoughts alone but to reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, a family member, or your doctor, and if you ever feel you might act on these feelings please seek help immediately. The Lord wants to carry this burden with you. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We know you are heavily burdened and we pray He will give you rest even before the housing situation is resolved. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up Galatians 6:9.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection that we can bring our prayers to God and know we are heard and forgiven. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins to Him and believe God raised Him from the dead, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. There is no prayer too broken for Him to hear when we come in Jesus name.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear child of Yours and their mother and brother to You. Lord, You see the harassment and the cruelty and the sleepless nights and the heaviness in that home. You see the ER visits and the shattered nerves and the depression and the exhaustion of caregiving. We ask You to be their refuge and strength and a very present help in this trouble. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon them and guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Give them rest for their souls and restore sleep and calm their nerves. Heal their mother's body and strengthen her, and protect and provide for their brother. Lord, we ask for justice and for protection, guide them to honest and effective legal help, move on the landlord and the authorities to act rightly, and either change the hearts of these neighbors or remove this harassment and provide a safe and quiet and affordable place to live where they can dwell in peace. Lift this depression and take away thoughts of not wanting to live and fill them with hope and remind them how deeply they are loved and needed. Strengthen them to not give up, to keep praying, to keep seeking You, and surround them with a caring community and church family who can help bear this burden. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God Romans 8:28 even when we cannot see how, and we trust You to work good out of this nightmare. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
I am saved, I accepted Christ at the early age of 17. I do have faith in my Lord and savior Jesus Christ but I’m weary and I do believe that as a Christian we do get tired and that’s ok, I do know not to stay there. God has blessed my mother and I so much but this is a new territory that is just harder to navigate. I love God with all my heart.
