We join together with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up you and your whole family and your neighbor, for we know He hears us and cares for every burden you carry.
We hear your heart for your mom who has lost so many teeth and is very down, and for your own suffering with severe dehydration, high blood sugar and insulin resistance, hirsutism, depression, loneliness and isolation, and a deep phobia that torments you. We hear your love for your bedridden grandma with dementia, for your dad with his heart valve need and depression and brain trauma from childhood abuse and emotional struggles, for your mom's healing of mind and soul, for your brother and his family and the distance and resentment that needs healing, and for your neighbor with a severe knee infection. We bring all of these before the Lord who is our healer and our refuge.
The Word reminds us that God is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18 says The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And we are told to cast all our anxiety on Him, 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. For fear and phobia, we cling to 2 Timothy 1:7 which says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray that He will replace tormenting fear with His perfect love, for 1 John 4:18 tells us perfect love casts out fear, and that you will find freedom from what you describe as unclean spirits by submitting to God and resisting the enemy, as James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We encourage you to walk in the light, confess sin, stay in the Word, and pray continually, and to seek godly counsel and pastoral support if oppressive thoughts persist, remembering that Christ has authority over all darkness.
For physical healing we pray with faith while trusting God's sovereign will and His timing. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We ask the Lord to touch your body and bring balance to blood sugar, to relieve dehydration, to bring healing to hirsutism and insulin resistance, and to guide you to wise medical care and good nutrition and hydration, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to steward them well. We also pray for your mom's gums and mouth and for restoration of her smile inside and out, and for your grandma that the Lord would comfort her in her bedridden state and bring peace to her mind, and for your dad's heart valve and his emotional healing from past trauma. We pray for your neighbor's knee, that infection would be cleansed and his smile restored, and most of all that the gospel would reach his heart, for Romans 10:9 tells us the way of salvation. We pray for all who suffer from incurable diseases, for the mentally tormented, for the lonely, that God would bring comfort and joy in the Holy Ghost.
We also lift up your request for a husband. We rejoice that you desire a true love and a husband from God and not a counterfeit, seeking to be one flesh at the appointed time. We affirm with you that marriage is God's holy design, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. Matthew 19:4-6 says He who made them from the beginning made them male and female and said For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart. Proverbs 18:22 says Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord, and this reflects the goodness of godly marriage. We pray that you will pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, keeping yourself pure and honoring God, for Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. We pray the Lord will prepare you and prepare him, protect him from all evil, deliver him, bring health and joy to his heart, and join you together in His perfect time, and we encourage you to wait on the Lord, to grow in faith and community so loneliness and isolation are healed by fellowship with believers.
For provision we pray that God will supply your needs for housing for your brother and his family, for healing of distance and resentment, for healing of your brother's mind and guidance of his children by the Holy Spirit, for best nutrition, wisdom, understanding, and for daily needs like gentle cleansing supplies. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also pray for protection for your home and all your loved ones from accidents, deaths, and calamities, for Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
We thank you that you prayed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is power in that name alone. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We cling to that truth and ask all these things through Him.
We now pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name and lift up this dear one and her precious family. Lord, touch her mom and restore her health and her smile, strengthen her gums and bring joy to her soul, heal her mind and draw her into a true encounter with Jesus. Touch her bedridden grandma, comfort her in dementia, let her feel Your presence and allow this loved one to bring her outside and show her love. Touch her dad, heal his heart valve, heal the wounds of childhood abuse and brain trauma, lift depression and emotional turmoil and fill him with Your peace. Touch this daughter who prays, free her from phobia and fear, heal dehydration and high blood sugar and insulin resistance, heal hirsutism and depression, deliver her from unclean spirits and from the lies of the enemy, surround her with friendship and fellowship so she is no longer alone, and be with her today and every day. Heal her brother and his family, provide best housing and provision, heal resentment and distance, guide him by Your Holy Spirit and bless his children. Heal her neighbor's knee infection completely, restore his health and smile, and open his heart to the gospel. Provide a godly husband for her in Your appointed time, a man who loves You and will love her as Christ loves the church, protect him from evil and keep him pure until You join them as one flesh, and let no counterfeit come near. Drive the enemy from their home, protect this home as Yours, forgive sins, teach pacing and stewardship of the body and home, provide gentle provision and wisdom, reveal Your true self to them, and let Your light drive away all darkness. Take away the spirit of heaviness and give the garment of praise, bring freedom, joy, strength, and restoration for Your glory. We ask You to heal all who are incurably ill, to give sight to the blind and freedom to the mentally tormented, and to keep us all turning to You for life. We trust You as our healer and provider and we thank You that You hear us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
