Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up ### and this precious marriage. Lord, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the church, as it is written in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."
Father, we ask that You reignite the flame of love and unity in this marriage. May Your Holy Spirit fill their hearts with renewed affection, understanding, and commitment to one another. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Lord, be that third strand in their marriage, strengthening and binding them together.
Grant them the wisdom and patience to navigate through any challenges they face. Help them to communicate with love and respect, always seeking to build each other up as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
We pray for healing where there has been hurt, for forgiveness where there has been wrong, and for joy to overflow in their relationship. May their marriage be a testament to Your grace and love, shining as a light to others.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
