We lift your husband before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. The pain and blackouts he is experiencing are deeply concerning, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is our Great Physician. The scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your husband’s life, trusting that God sees his suffering and will bring restoration.
The financial strain you are facing is also a heavy burden, and we pray that God would open doors of provision in ways only He can. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask the Lord to move mightily in your situation, providing not just for your needs but also guiding your husband toward opportunities that align with his health and abilities. Unemployment can weigh heavily on a man’s spirit, and we pray that God would strengthen his heart, renew his hope, and remind him of his worth in Christ.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing power to flow through every part of this dear brother’s body. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his body, clear his mind, and restore his health so that he may rise up and fulfill the purposes You have for him. We also ask You to provide for this family’s needs, Lord. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your provision overflow in their lives. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You.
We also pray for this precious wife, Lord. Strengthen her faith, give her endurance, and fill her heart with hope as she stands in the gap for her husband. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them both with a community of believers who can support and encourage them during this time.
Lord, we know that You are sovereign, and nothing is too hard for You. We trust You to work all things together for good for this family, even in the midst of their struggles. The burden you carry is a heavy one, and the Lord has not overlooked it. A husband afflicted with blackouts and continual pains, three years of unemployment from a fall, and a closed purse would drive any wife to prayer, and it is well that you have come to ask for the church’s intercession. We will most certainly pray for him, and for you, for you are one flesh with him and his sorrow is your sorrow.
Let me set before you this comfort. The Lord is a Husband unto His people. He set His special love upon them when they were in a desert land and a howling wilderness. He has been faithful to them when all earthly props failed. He communes with them lovingly. He provides for them as a husband does for his bride. When your husband’s strength is low, God’s strength is not low. When the money is blocked, God’s treasury is not blocked. Cast yourselves upon Him, soul and body, for He careth for you.
I will ask the Great Physician to lay His healing hand upon your husband. The body is not our home, it is the workshop, and we groan in this body till the day of full redemption. Yet while we are in it, we may pray for relief from blackouts and pains, and we may use every proper means for recovery. Faith does not forbid medicines or physicians; it forbids trusting them instead of the Lord.
Do not think that his unemployment has put him outside the Master’s service. There is work to be done even from a sickbed. The Lord said, Son, go work today in My vineyard. Where there is breath and a believing heart, there is prayer, there is patience, there is testimony, there is the work of the Spirit within. Let him cast all his weight of sin and care upon the finished work of Christ, for Christ has finished the work which the Father gave Him to do, and our acceptance is in that finished work, not in our own labor.
I shall pray that the Lord will open a door for his labor if it please Him, and that He will supply every need out of His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May He establish the work of your hands, and may you both know that the night of this present sorrow will not last forever. There is rest enough in heaven. Work on, trust on, pray on, for the Lord is not slack concerning His promise.
Let us pray together. O Lord, look upon this suffering husband. Rebuke the blackouts and the pains, or give grace to bear them. Provide for this household, break the blocked finances if it be Thy will, and make Thy face to shine upon them. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
