Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart burdened by the weight of our dear friend ###. Lord, You are the lifter of our heads and the bearer of our burdens. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We hold on to this promise, believing that You are near to ### in this moment of need.
Father, we ask that You pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as described in Philippians 4:7, to guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit bring comfort and strength, replacing the heaviness with the joy of Your presence.
In 1 Peter 5:7, You invite us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us. Today, we cast ###'s burdens onto You, trusting that Your love and care will bring relief and hope.
Lord, we pray that ### may feel Your loving arms wrapped around, providing solace and encouragement. In Your mighty name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
