Please pray for my friend Suzy. She had a rash for about 3 weeks back in November and went to the dr. They did some tests and it came back they she has pancreatic cancer. She was able to get into Johns Hopkins Hospital and the dr. there performed the whipple procedure on her. She did well and then developed an infection and was readmitted into the hospital. She finally got to come home on Christmas Eve. She has been having a really rough time. She is in constant pain and is having a hard time eating. She is just skin and bones. She went back to Johns Hopkins for a follow up and they told her that they found cancer in one of her lymph nodes and that more than likely, the cancer had spread to either or both her lungs and liver. She was scheduled to start chemo next week. The dr.s called Tuesday and said that they didn't want her to wait until next week, so she is starting chemo this Thursday (tomorrow). She is so thin and I am concerned what effects the chemo will have on her. She is staying upbeat, hoping for the best. Please remember her in your prayers. She really needs them.
