Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and the family in this time of great distress. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, where the father is causing harm and strife within the family. We pray that You would touch his heart, convict him of his wrongdoings, and lead him to repentance and transformation.
Father, we pray for protection over ### and the family. Shield them from any further harm, both physically and emotionally. Grant them the strength and courage to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. Your Word says, "The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). May they find solace and security in Your promises.
We also lift up the financial needs of this family. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We ask that You open doors of provision and supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that they will not face eviction and that You will provide the necessary resources to keep a roof over their heads.
For the siblings who aspire to go to college, we ask for Your guidance and provision. Grant them favor and open opportunities for scholarships, grants, or any other means that will enable them to pursue their education. We trust in Your plans for their future, knowing that You have good plans for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also pray for spiritual strength and growth for this family. Draw them closer to You during this challenging time. May they find comfort in Your presence and wisdom in Your Word. Help them to lean not on their own understanding but to trust in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
