We join with you in lifting up your daughter before our Heavenly Father, bringing her mental health, her school work, and her confidence as she prepares for what is ahead. We know how heavy a parent's heart can feel when a child is struggling with anxiety, pressure, or self doubt, and we thank you for bringing her to the Lord in prayer.
Scripture reminds us that God cares deeply for her mind and heart. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. When anxiety rises, we are invited to come to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that peace over her now, that her thoughts would be guarded and her heart steadied, not by her own strength but by His presence. As it is written, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We also pray for her school work and preparation, that the Lord would give her clarity, focus, and confidence rooted in Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We ask God to grant her wisdom as she studies and prepares, and to help her commit her deeds to Yahweh, and her plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3. Whatever she does, we pray she can do it heartily, as for the Lord, Colossians 3:23, knowing that she can do all things through Christ, who strengthens her, Philippians 4:13. True confidence does not come from perfection or performance, but from knowing she is fearfully and wonderfully made and upheld by her Creator, Psalm 139:14, and that when she is afraid she can put her trust in Him, Psalm 56:3.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard, Romans 10:9. We pray you and your daughter both know this hope personally.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You know her struggles, her worries, her school pressures, and every thought that weighs on her mind. We ask You to touch her mental health with Your healing peace, to calm every anxious thought, to replace fear with Your power and love and a sound mind. Give her restful sleep, renewed strength, and joy in You. We ask You to bless her studies, help her to understand what she is learning, to remember what she has prepared, and to approach her work with diligence and calm confidence. Let her find her confidence not in herself alone but in You who is with her always. Surround her with encouragement, godly support, and remind her daily that You are near to those who are of a broken heart, Psalm 34:18, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her, Joshua 1:9. Draw her closer to Jesus, and draw her family closer to You as you walk through this season together. We trust her into Your loving hands and thank You for hearing us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
