Please Pray for My Daughter’s Course Registration

Thank you for sharing your heart for your daughter and for allowing us to pray with you. It is understandable that she feels anxious after not getting into the class she needs and after carrying the disappointment of the transfer exam. We want to lift her up before the Lord with you.

God sees and values your daughter deeply. In Scripture, even in cultures where daughters were not always treasured, the Lord shows His care for each child and His faithful watch over their lives as they grow into adulthood. He knows her by name, He knows the number of credits she needs, the home where she now lives, and the concerns she carries into this new year.

Disappointments and delays are painful, but the Lord often works patiently across long seasons. Just as families grow and mature over many years, God is shaping character and faith step by step. Not passing the exam she prepared so hard for was a real loss, yet her willingness to get back up and work diligently to catch up is evidence of resilience that God can honor and strengthen.

The college years can be a challenging time to walk with Jesus. Sometimes the environment is not as supportive as one hopes, and at other times being in a secular setting calls for clear conviction and courage. The Lord can use both kinds of pressure to deepen faith, to make a young believer more settled in what she believes and more willing to speak graciously for Christ. Pray that this sophomore year will strengthen her trust and resolve.

We also understand that moving into a new rental place brings its own adjustments. Praying for wisdom and protection as she learns to live in a new environment, to choose friendships well and to keep healthy boundaries, is important. The Lord can give discernment as she relates to others around her.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this young woman before You. You are the only way of salvation and the source of true peace. We ask that You graciously open the door for her to be added to the Thursday morning Japanese class if it is Your will, and that You provide the credits she needs to graduate on time. Guide each decision she makes about her schedule and her studies. Help her to settle quickly into her new home, to adapt well to daily life there, and to know stability, peace and joy in this new year. Give her confidence not in herself alone but in Your faithful presence and leading. Quiet her worries and remind her that You order her steps and that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

May the Lord encourage both you and your daughter as you trust Him to lead her forward. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun.

My daughter does not want to accept that she is schizophrenia diagnosed. Therefore, she won't take her medicine. I had to hospitalize her because she attacked me. We need praying so God can make her realize we love her and will be there for her so she can get better and not be homeless again.
