Please pray for my daughter

I join you in prayer for your daughter in this season of transition. It is good that you have brought her need before the Lord and asked others to pray with you, for God hears the prayers offered for one another and is faithful to answer according to His wisdom and mercy.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

Heavenly Father, I lift up this daughter to You. You see her as she has moved to a new city and seeks work. You know her needs, her hopes, and the place You have for her. I ask that You guide her steps, open the right doors for employment, and provide for her daily needs. Grant her favor with those who are hiring, give her wisdom and strength in each application and interview, and guard her heart from discouragement. Surround her in this new city with a healthy community, keep her safe, and draw her closer to You as she trusts in Your provision. May she know that You are with her and that You care for her future. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.

May the Lord encourage you both as you wait on Him. Continue to seek Him and to trust His timing, for He is faithful to lead those who look to Him.

Here is the original text:

Thank you for sharing this request and for allowing us to pray with you for your daughter. We have lifted her up before the Lord, asking Him to open the right door for employment and to give her peace and strength as she settles in a new city.

The story of Job reminds us that while cultures and times change, the deep questions and needs of the human heart remain the same. What troubled Job long ago still troubles us today, the need for security, for purpose, for assurance that God sees us and cares. Scripture pulls back the curtain on Job's story to show that God was fully aware of him, knew his integrity, and was sovereign over all that happened to him. Even when Job could not understand his circumstances and his friends could not give him true comfort, God had not forgotten him.

That same truth is a comfort for your daughter now. Moving to a new place and waiting for work can bring uncertainty and heavy questions, but the Lord knows where she is and what she needs. He is not distant. Through Jesus Christ, God has made provision to meet our deepest needs, not only for daily bread and work, but for hope, guidance, and nearness to Himself. What Job could only cry out for, we now have answered in Christ, one who stands between God and us and brings us to the Father.

We are praying that God will provide for your daughter according to His wisdom and love, that He will lead her to work that is good and fitting, that He will give her favor with those she meets, and that He will use this season to draw her closer to Himself. We pray that she will know His presence each day, trust His care, and find rest in knowing that her life is in His hands.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this daughter before You. You see her in this new city and You know her needs. Provide for her, guide her steps, open the right opportunity for work in Your timing, and guard her heart with Your peace. Help her to seek You first and to trust Your goodness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your daughter as she has moved to a new city and is looking for a new job. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this important transition. We have been lifting her up and asking the Lord to open the right doors for employment, to grant her favor with those who are hiring, to provide for all her needs and to give her peace and community in her new city. We trust His promise in Jer 29:11 that He knows the plans He has for her and in Phil 4:19 that He will supply all her needs according to His riches in Christ.

If your request was answered and your daughter has found a job, please post a praise report and let us all rejoice with you. If she is still waiting and seeking, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We pray for Gods provision and guidance over her and for His perfect timing to be evident, and we ask all this in Jesus Name. May God bless you and your daughter as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
