Please pray for my daughter that she doesn't get any jail time for her DUI. She is really a good person and she will not be there for her aging dog that just had major surgery. 2 souls are at stake. Pray to give her courage and lots of faith in God to help her through this. Thank you

Dear ###, there's more at stake here than her dog (I love dogs and understand your loving concern). Is there any way you can watch her dog, just in case? ###, has your daughter had previous DUI's or is this a first-time isolated incident?

I'm concerned as I have an alcoholic grandchild who I'm desperately trying to get to go to AA or some kind of support group because we are at the stage of "life or death", what's your choice?

Anyway, we love our children and want the best for them. Thank you for listening.

I am praying for your daughter to receive the help she needs with a DUI! This is very serious. This past week we lost one of our Finest! The NOPD (New Orleans Police Department) lost an officer that was handling a traffic accident when out of the blue a DUI driver hit her and the police car and put her into intensive care. She died yesterday evening. She had children and a loving husband. In her family her Dad and Uncles were officers. Driving Drunk KILLS. I live in the party town, but I also believe if you drink take a cab! Your daughter needs to understand how serious this is and how lucky she is that no one was hurt. I will pray for her. I will ask Our Lord to open her eyes and to stop any desire that she may have for drinking. God Bless you for the stress that you are going through.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
