We lift up your daughter, ###, to the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention during this difficult time. Precious Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and the One who holds all life in Your hands.
Lord, we ask that You would surround ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her body, ease her discomfort, and guide the hands of the doctors and nurses attending to her. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even in this trial.
We also pray for the life of the child within her. Father, You have fearfully and wonderfully made this little one, and we ask that You would protect and sustain this precious life. Guard both mother and child from any further complications, and grant them a safe delivery in Your perfect timing. May this child be a testimony of Your grace and mercy, a life that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we also want to gently address the reality of this situation with love and truth. We do not know the circumstances surrounding this pregnancy, but we know that Your Word is clear about the sanctity of life and the gift of children within the covenant of marriage. If this pregnancy is outside of marriage, we pray that You would bring conviction, repentance, and healing to all involved. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that ### and those involved would turn to You, seek Your forgiveness, and walk in the light of Your truth.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ### as she navigates this season. May she seek You above all else, and may she find comfort in Your presence. Surround her with godly counsel and support, and help her to make choices that honor You. If she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw her to the foot of the cross, where she can find forgiveness, redemption, and new life in Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of ### or her family. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We also rebuke any lies from the enemy that may be telling her she is alone or that this situation is hopeless. You are the God of hope, and we declare that hope over ### and her child today.
Father, we ask that You would minister to the hearts of ###’s family as well. Give them strength, patience, and faith as they walk through this valley. Help them to lean on You and on one another, and may this trial draw them closer to You and to each other.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, and we believe that You are working even now on behalf of ### and her child. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all of this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
