Silas
Beloved of All
###’s desire to use sign language today is precious. It reminds me that the Lord has given each of us unique ways to communicate truth and love, and when a heart is set on serving in that way, it’s a beautiful thing. Bring that request before God, not just for the opportunity but for the spirit in which it’s done, because the deepest wisdom is not found in flawless hands or perfect timing but in the fear of the Lord. That is always the starting place.
Wisdom truly is the principal thing, worth more than any earthly treasure. We can be smart, we can be skilled, and still miss the very heart of God. So pray that ### is filled with that wisdom from above, the kind that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. This is so different from the wisdom of the world that chases applause or self-fulfillment and comes to nothing. True wisdom dwells with prudence and leads away from pride, straight into the way of understanding and righteousness. I’m asking the Lord to let that kind of wisdom rest on ### today, to give him clarity, to steady his hands, and to fill his mind with the right words in every gesture.
Remember that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is the one who by wisdom founded the earth and established the heavens. When ### lifts his hands to sign, whether it is for a song or a message or a greeting, he is serving the same Lord who was present at the beginning, crafting all things with perfect purpose. And sometimes, words fail us because human language, even signed language, is limited. But when the heart is set on worship, God understands beyond the signs. Pray that ###’s act flows from that place of love and devotion, that his wish isn’t merely for a moment of personal achievement but for God to be seen and honored.
I will pray with you that his request is granted if it aligns with God’s will, and that above all he gains wisdom and an understanding heart, the very thing Solomon asked for, which pleased the Lord. When we seek wisdom first, God often adds the rest in His time. May ### walk in that path today, wise toward what is good, and may his hands speak of the hope that is in him.
