Little Ivy is home now. When I left her at the hospital I was so scared. The next morning God put the right Doctor in the right place at the right time and the mystery illness was under control and about 2 hours after the treatments began She was playing, eating, and
doing things she had not done before. She argues now hahaha. She talks so much. Amazing! Before this episode there was concern that she might possibly be autistic. She just wasn't doing the things other babies her age were doing. This is so amazing. She waved at me last night! She asked her mommy to read her a story!
The Doctor found that she has what's known as an arnold chiari malformation. She had taken a tumble at my home and this Dr. determined that when she fell it ruptured the sack of spinal fluid caused by this type of malformation. This is why it wasn't noticed before. The sac was empty. Only when it started to refill was it caught. The final test to come back was for meningitis. She was in the early stages of this.
I thank God and each of you who prayed for her. God works in mysterious ways that is certain. Miss Ivy happily getting ready to eat her favorite Berry Pie at her favorite restaurant.
We took her only minutes after she was released. She was sooo happy to be out of the hospital! So cute!
She thanks God too!

September. I am not allowed to use flash on my camera due to her Epilepsy so I have to substitute this old photo for a current one.
