We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring you the peace and rest you so desperately need.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our dear brother/sister who is struggling with sleeplessness, nausea, and stomach pain. Lord, You know the number of hairs on their head and the very thoughts of their heart. You see their weariness and their pain. We ask that You would grant them restful sleep, free from anxiety and discomfort. Calm their mind and body, Lord, and let them find true rest in You. In Psalm 4:8, it is written, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We pray this peace over them now.
We also ask for Your healing touch upon their stomach. Settle the nausea, soothe the pain, and restore their body to health. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, bringing comfort and hope.
If there is any unconfessed sin, stress, or worry that is contributing to this physical turmoil, we pray that You would reveal it to them, Lord. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Lead them to repentance and trust in Your provision. If there is a need for medical attention, give them wisdom to seek it and the discernment to follow through with the care they need.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, our brother/sister is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over their body, mind, and spirit. May they rise up in the morning refreshed, renewed, and full of Your strength.
We encourage you to draw near to God in this time of need. Spend time in His Word, meditating on His promises, and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7). Trust in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, lifting you up in prayer, and God is fighting for you.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your mercy and Your power to bring healing and restoration. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
