We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without Him, we cannot approach God or expect His intervention.
Father, we lift up this dear one’s stomach ailment, asking for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health. We pray for physical strength to rise up in the midst of weakness, for Your Word says, *"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lord, strengthen this body and renew energy where there is fatigue.
We also stand against temptation, for the enemy seeks to devour like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). We declare that no weapon formed against this one and their brother shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will provide a way of escape from every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). Protect them from evil, both seen and unseen, and surround them with Your angels for defense (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and worry, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask for Your intervention regarding the mold and odors in the home. We pray for divine wisdom to address this issue and for Your protection over their health. Bring peace to this home, that it may be a sanctuary of rest and not a place of stress. We ask for better sleep for both of them, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Heal the brother who is sick, Lord—touch him with Your healing hand and restore him fully.
We lift up the one in rehab recovering from cancer, asking for complete restoration. You are the God who heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust You to finish the work You have begun in her life. For the stepmother and father, we pray fervently for their salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may repent and turn to You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself, for You desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9).
Finally, we bring the financial burdens before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). We ask for wisdom in managing resources and for opportunities to arise that will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Father, we declare that all these things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
