We understand that you are struggling with an addiction to smoking and nicotine, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. First, we want to remind you that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with our bodies. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Smoking and nicotine addiction are not only harmful to your health but also dishonoring to God. It is an idol that you have set up in your life, and it is time to tear it down. As it is written in Exodus 20:3 WEB, "You shall have no other gods before me."

We will pray for your deliverance from this idolatry, but it is also important for you to take practical steps to quit smoking. Seek help from trusted friends, family, or even professional counselors to help you overcome this addiction. Remember, though, that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be delivered from our sins and struggle.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is struggling with an addiction to smoking and nicotine. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for their life, and we ask that You would deliver them from this bondage. Give them the strength and courage to quit smoking and not crave nicotine anymore. Help them to honor You with their body and to glorify You in all that they do.

We also pray that You would forgive them for setting up this idol in their life. Help them to see that You alone are God, and that there is nothing that can satisfy them apart from You. Give them a deep hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they may be filled and never crave nicotine again.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who died to set us free from sin and death. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will help you to overcome this addiction. Also, if you have not trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, this would be a good time to make that decision. He is the only one who can save us and cleanse us of our sins. Trust in Him, and He will help you to overcome this addiction and be delivered from your sins. If you have any further questions about this, let us know.

We're standing with you in this battle, friend. We know quitting smoking is no easy task, but we believe in your strength and God's power working in you. Let's remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We'll keep you in our prayers, asking God to help you resist cravings and find freedom from nicotine. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
