Please pray for me to have the love of the one person I really love; I know God is hearing me and all of us. God is seeing all the nights I pleaded with Him for her. I know she is the one, but without God's wish, my knowledge is nothing

The Dawn of Revival; or, Prayer Speedily Answered
We hear the deep longing in your heart for this woman you love, and we join with you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father, and we honor your humility in saying that without God's will your own knowledge is nothing. That surrender is right and pleasing to God, for we are called to trust not in our own understanding but in His perfect wisdom and love.

We share your confidence that God hears and sees, for Scripture assures us that He is near to all who call upon Him. At the same time we want to gently encourage you to seek His will above all, even above this desire, however strong it feels. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, and that this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Prayer is not to compel another person's love or to bend God's will to our own, but to align our hearts with His, to ask that His best be done for both you and for her, and to respect the freedom God has given to each person.

We also notice that your request speaks of God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that we are forgiven and can come boldly before God in prayer. We encourage you to seek Him first, to delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4, and to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

Concerning your love for this woman, we pray for a love that honors God. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we strongly endorse marriage when it is according to God's will. If you are to pursue her, we encourage you to do so as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for we are told don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. True biblical love is patient and kind, it does not seek to possess or force, but to honor and cherish 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. We also urge you, if God does open the door for a relationship to grow toward marriage, to keep it pure and holy, for we are called to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to reserve the gift of physical intimacy for marriage alone, where a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24.

We pray together now for you and for her.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this dear one who has poured out his heart to You night after night. You see his tears, You know his love for this woman, and You know what is best for both of them. We ask that You would grant him peace as he trusts in You with all his heart and does not lean on his own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. If it is Your will that their lives be joined together in godly marriage, we pray that You would make that path straight, that You would cultivate mutual love, respect, and faith in You between them, and that You would help them to pursue courtship that honors You in purity and truth. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would gently close this door, heal his heart, guard him from idolatry or obsession, and prepare him and also her for the spouse You have chosen, if marriage is Your plan for them. Help him to respect her choices and to love her as You love, without manipulation or pressure. Draw them both closer to Jesus, establish them in faith, and let Your will be done above all. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and to wait upon the Lord, to remain in His Word, to seek godly counsel, and to focus on becoming the godly husband God calls a man to be, trusting that He who sees every night you have pleaded will answer according to His perfect love and timing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have been thinking about your request and the nights you have spent pleading with God for her. To care for someone so deeply and still not know what the future holds is heavy and lonely, and we hear both your love for her and your desire to honor God's will above your own.

That humility you named, that without God's will your own certainty is nothing, is a good place to stay. It keeps your heart open to hear Him clearly and it honors her as a person on her own journey before God as well.

We are praying for clarity and peace for you in this waiting. One thing that often helps in a season like this is not carrying it only in private. If you have a trusted pastor or mature friend who knows you well, invite him to walk with you, to pray with you regularly and to help you discern next steps wisely and respectfully toward her. Staying rooted in your church family, worshipping and serving alongside others, can also steady you when loneliness presses in and remind you that you are not alone while you wait.

Father, we lift our brother to You and thank You that You see every prayer he has prayed in the night. Give him Your peace, guide both his heart and hers according to Your perfect will, and help him rest in Your love and goodness. Shape him to love well and to trust You more each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you very much; I agree with everything you said, but she is not a Christian, and I do not really know what I should do. She is interested in reading the Bible, so perhaps I can show her the way.

Your nights of pleading have not been hidden from the Lord, and your honest confession that without God's wish your knowledge is nothing is itself a mercy. It is well that you have learned to say, if the Lord wills, for all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains.

As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so in grace we must rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. It is vain for any of us to say, if I will it I will conquer, for we are not stronger than God and we cannot make His providence bend to our desire. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will to do of His own good pleasure. Therefore the very burden of your prayer must be that your will may be conformed to His.

Do trust Him, for He will never deceive you. Lean upon Him, He will not fail you. Everything that God does to His people is all love, sometimes the love is a little disguised, but the love is always there. If He caresses, it is love. If He chastens, it is love. If He smiles, it is love. If He frowns, it is love. And it would be no evidence of His love if He allowed us to have all we crave without regard to what is good for our souls. You feel that this one is the one for you, but our hearts are often mistaken, and only the Lord knows what is appointed for your good and for hers.

I would have you consider what it is to give an unconditional surrender to God. You will never be happy till self is dethroned. Some of God's children are in great trouble only because they will not yield to the divine will. To love God's Word and God's law is to find great peace, for then we reach forward to resignation to God, acquiescence in His will and conformity to it. It is of no use to quarrel with God. Our best profit will consist of doing God's will, and such people as have learned to bring their minds into conformity with the will of God shall find the desire of their heart granted, because their desire has become His desire for them.

So let us pray not as those who would compel the Almighty, but as those who would be made willing to be led by Him. I will pray for you that the Lord will keep your heart pure and your desires holy, that if it be His will to join you to this one you love, it may be in the lifelong covenant of marriage as He ordained from the beginning, one man and one woman, in holiness and not in mere passion, and that you may seek first salvation through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone we have hope. And I will pray that if it be not His will, He will give you grace to yield, to find your peace not in the gaining of this love but in the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that love which yielded Himself to die for us when we had no claim upon Him.

May the Holy Spirit lead you to love Him more, to show that love by keeping His commandments, and to remember Him who died for you. He that has made you with so much care will not break you, and He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. Rest there, and let your prayer be, not my will, but Thine be done.

These words really touched me; thank you very much, and if I get that relationship im praying for, I hope it comes with God's love instead of lust and other bad feelings
